Yarn Things TT was born out of a simple yet impactful moment in early 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. With retail stores closed across Trinidad and Tobago, a Facebook friend posted, “Where can I get yarn since all the craft stores are closed?” I reached out, offering some yarn from my personal stash. When I shared photos, her response was, “I haven’t seen this yarn in Trinidad—no stores carry this brand!” That single interaction, along with a few more inquiries from fellow crocheters, sparked an idea.
As someone who ran a crochet business for a few years, I knew firsthand how difficult it was to find high-quality yarn locally. Most local craft stores only carried “itchy” and “scratchy” wool, leaving little variety for crafters. After thorough research and planning, Yarn Things TT officially launched in July 2021.
We are an online store dedicated to providing quality yarn, crochet and knitting accessories (like hooks, stitch markers, knitting needles), and even fun yarn-themed merchandise. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of premium yarns at competitive prices, delivered straight to your doorstep.
